In the last of the northern Catskill Mountains, the Helderbergs are home to a pastoral lifestyle that boasts real life scenes usually found only on postcards. The rolling green hills ringed by the peaks of nearby ski resorts are cleansed by pure mountain breezes. Nonetheless, the hill towns that enjoy this untainted setting also appreciate the close proximity of major roadways such as Interstates 87, 88, 81, 90, and the Taconic Parkway. The perfect locale for rearing a family in a wholesome environment or a bucolic weekend milieu or holiday getaway, Greenville, New York ranks high on the list.
